With 3 second rounders coming up went with Mathewson which my scout views as a mid rotation pitcher at a 5-5-7. Junk baller who reminds me of 'Cubby' before he got hurt. Also shows a possible plus pitch with his change up.

Only a few pitchers with BLB starting potiental left so had to grab him now and get the hitters coming up.

Thank god for the removal of rule V cuz our A is about to become very young.

At 2.23 ended up taking Florida State 3B Donnie Benoit.

+Ranks as the #22 prospect in NCAA (highest remaining)
+Ranks as the #2 3B (behind Ron DeCicco, 2.3)
+Lead all of NCAA in WAR at 4.1
+2nd to only Jimmy Anderson in career WAR at 6.7

Almost took him at 1.23, which makes me think there must be something wrong with him.

My scout has Trausch at a 6-6-6-3-5. He doesn't play. Most likely cuz he's a 1B. It's just to much to pass up here this late in the 2nd round.

For those who like character, it's all in the right spots.

There's an ongoing issue with feeder league teams managing their rosters inattentively.

Guys get hurt and then don't get activated from the disabled list even months after they heal.

I've been trying to manage it by manually moving players back to the active rosters, but it's a lot of players and teams to keep up with and I don't always remember to do it.

So if a guy isn't playing, check to see if he's stuck on the DL. If it's a point in the season where something can be done about it, send me a note and I'll fix it.

Oh no worries , I just thought it was dumb AI stuff. Didn't even know a fix was possible. He has a range of 2 so he belongs at 1B which is here I plan to stick him

No problem. Just wanted people to know it's not a sign of something being secretly defective about the individual player. It's an AI issue that needs ongoing co-commissioner maintenance.
