I like Baker. If he can learn shortstop, could be a really valuable player, given how difficult it can be to find players there. At worst, he's a plus fielder everywhere else on the infield.

        Yea that's my thought.

His contact according to my scout, will be below average but I'm not so sure. He's one of the best high school players ever and maybe that's his ceiling. I think his power and defense are real but I'm not so sure about the contact yet.

        We'll see, I guess.

For everyone picking going forward, there is a 2019 1st and 2nd available for trade as long as my guy is still on the board.

I really liked Baker as well. And my scout was in love with Dail.
I was hoping one of those two would still be available.

My scout had Dali as the #1 player on the board but didn't rate him well, but he's got great tools and great (offensive) stats.

I have absolutely no idea what to think about him.

My scout also had him #1, but I downgraded him due to not being in a DH league.

My scout absolutely loves Dail. To be honest I was hoping he wouldn't drop to me. I'm not convinced on him, but I'd have kicked myself in the ass if I passed on him and he turned out to be as good as my guy says he is. I felt like I kind of had to pick him. We'll see how it turns out. I guess we'll find out in 5 seasons or so.

Yeah, my scout said he was going to be an elite hitter in the league for a long time.
He has no hands, but "Nobody walks off the Island." ;)

And having the distinct advantage of playing in the DL, I would just make him a DH.

Wow, this went way faster than I thought it would (twss), I won't be able to pick until later this evening.

                      Sorry to slow things down!

I had to argue with myself not to pick him at 1.7. Will be interesting to track his development.

                          Who is that guy again?

There were hitters I liked better - but either at 1B, OF, or a position I already have some seeds growing in the minors at. I guess Morgan and Raimondi are both at SS right now but Morgan's potential to play any IF/OF position at a decent level made him a no brainer. Hope the little pop he's shown transfers to the pro game as well.

Dail was my top hitter. Age and weak defense scared me away. It'll be interesting to see how he develops.

Well, if it bothers you too much, you could just trade the pick to me. I'll make my pick and we can keep the draft moving.

                                It's win-win.
