With the 5th overall pick, the Toronto Canadians select RF Tommy Horning from the Florida State Seminoles.
Had my eye on Horning for a while. He's close to being ready and fits into our age group of prospects that we're trying to bring along. He also fills a need in RF and his power lefty bat is a perfect match for our ballpark.
The price is a little steep. But Horning will be a good addition.
Our pipeline is starting to take shape:
C/DH - Robby O'Neal
1B - Dylan Owens
2B - Jimmy Anderson
SS - ?
3B - Jamie Kitchen
LF - Dave Ingram
CF - ?
RF - Tommy Horning

He's been unusually quiet since he rejoined. Maybe it isn't Spot.
Maybe it's Los Alamos.
