    It's a commitment to rebuild, for sure. This is the first time I've ever tried to do it properly.

    Previously I'd always try and wing it by trying to make some big trades or signing an over the hill FA (deals such as Russ McEvoy in Davenport, Goto when I took over Los Lunas, Rex Morgan in Davenport). Lot of those deals cost me prospects that would have helped in the long run.

    We absolutely suck right now at the BLB level and we have for quite some time. But it's been fun to watch a group of prospects move through the minor league system together. I look forward to making a big trade down the road but only when the core pieces are in place.

      Why would you rebuild during 6 years if you can win a brewmaster in 4?
