Time for Free Agency & Ticket Prices

    Offseason Schedule

    Wed 8/24 - Free Agency 5 - Feb 1 to Feb 16
    Thu 8/25 - Free Agency 6 - Feb 16 to ST
    Sat 8/27 - Spring Training 1
    Sun 8/28 - Spring Training 2

    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Thanks for the early sim. Able to get one last export in before my flight.

Welcome to Seattle, Pat Vonada. It only took 5 FA sims!

Really like what Carolina has done this Free-Agency. Goodhart, HernandeZ, Martin and Vargas were all on my radar but I allocated funds elsewhere.

        Love the early sims!!

My continued strategy of low-balling these exorbitant demands does not seem to be working thus far... Here's hoping that changes!

There is still a ton of FA talent left...and some have been dropping their demands.

Some teams are going to get some really good players, likely on 1-year deals for probably half of their initial asking price.

I mainly did it for the fan bump during our losing time.

They are all easy to trade if need be.

Give me a call about Fernando come July.

As long as no one keeps him from getting the record, I'm good.

League office just received his list of teams that are on his no trade list. Sorry, Seattle's on it.

You'd be surprised to see how many coaches and players have refused to even allow me to offer them a contract. I like that the game does this, as I'm not sure how many highly coveted coaches/players would want to work for an expansion team but fuck those guys.

Someone that was on the decline told me he didn't want to talk to me. But other, more talented players were very willing.

I wonder if going for a ring is hard coded in there somewhere.

Yeah they know that's never happening in Denver.

But if we sign them then we can attract others.

Id be curious to see if someones GM reputation has anything to do with it.

I'm just kidding anyways. The Bock is going to be Denver's starting in 2020.

Don't think it's that, as I have Legendary status.

Maybe they just don't like me.
