    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Yeah. I rushed to see how many years. And then I was like, "oooh. Nice."

I have two firsts and/or prospects for an elite RF. Check my trade block - also have some role players available on cheap contracts.

Reeves signing is well done by Matt - I think BAT may "win" the offseason. Monks is a good value by Pat and Talley got paid.

I got an 8 point bump back to 100 fan interest for TJ Dunn. Nice.

            Thanks.

He wasn't even on my radar until yesterday afternoon. I was sitting on about $4M of cash that I wanted to spend before scouting/player development budgets were due. My first two FA sims my targets laughed at my offers. Then I actually had to pull my offer to "CF" Roman ChutZ when I decided to go for Monks.

He gets pencilled in as the starting 1B vs. RHSP. He's durable, great intangibles, fields his position well and has solid running abilities for a 1B. However, he leaves a very LH friendly park and is coming off a season where he really struggled.

I figure he would be an upgrade over T.J. Payette with the bat, glove, on the bases and in the club house.

The Muckdogs might be the team to beat in the IL.

In addition to the Zack Reeves rental and the trade for CF Al Anguiano, they have also brought in a few nice depth pieces in IFs Fernando Lauriano, Travis Krummen and OF Steven Fletcher. And 2016 first round pick OF Tom Ackers is currently listed as the starting RF.

Batavia is a notorious slow starter, so don't be surprised to see them stumble a bit out of the gate but once this thing gets rollin'...

He's a good-looking guy and just signed a rich contract.

He's a bit younger than her though. She's gotta be 36 now. He's 31. She's got some kids. Everything I hear about Evans is he's a smart guy, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

But really, I had no idea she was even real when I read that headline.

Me neither. I Googled the name, expecting to see nothing, and was shocked.

                      He's "low" on loyalty.

I bet he plays baseball longer than the marriage.

I'm assuming this means he struggles this season and then more personal "storylines" pop up to explain it away.

I wonder, did his popularity increase?

I could see it helping his all star votes.

Who is the most anonymous player on the Top Players list now?

                            http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...yers_page.html

Maybe Jimmy Cook? 11th overall pick by Jistic back in 2008?

I just did a search on the forums for "Jimmy Cook" and got zero results of someone discussing him, so I think it's probably him.

P.S. What a fourth round pick Tom Lewis was years ago.
