14. CONTRACTS

• If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
• Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
• Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Well I definitely offered more money to Zhang and Tinajero! But Zhang wants to go to a contender.

We provided them with the relief which screwed ourselves but we will take the 1st round pick! It's clearly not our time for FA.

We are not landing any of our big targets, but we've added a couple of nice veterans to take the pressure off of the kids.

Manny Reyes is a RH outfielder that should easily spell Filar and Finn against lefties.

Shimada and Yamashita will hopeful help to protect our young starters in a rebuilt bullpen... Plus the owner likes that they are both popular with the fans!
