          Is there even a free agent center fielder who can field the position at something resembling an average level of performance and hit above .200 with a .600 OPS?

            Yes. But we won't know until mid-season after someone signs a random body for 500,000.

                I think is going to be a quiet off-season in Dallas, the Champions are young and with more young capable players coming into the BLB...

                Happy with our situation, we could improve Catcher position though...

                Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
                * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

                  This is what happens when you let the Manager set your lineups all year.

                    I was going to but then I realized that Z did say "average."

                    I think if you want Chutz playing centerfield on your team, you might as well as Jamie McPherson out there.

                      Chutz is probably the closest to a satisfying answer this offseason.

                      It's a distressing state of affairs.

                        Will this international FA class be the norm from now on? Wonder if restructuring with the expansion teams had anything to do with it?

                          I sure hope so! It's an interesting twist having some talented younger players on the open market.

                          I made a pile of offers with nothing to show for it. Being in California the last few years has sucked! I even put a lovely sunset on my FA player brochure but nothing. Maybe it's time to hire the promotional firm that made the DVS commercials.

                            Another dumb newbie question... Is there a way either in the game or on-line that I can see who is bidding on who?

                            Looking at that list, I would have signed Santoyo to a 5 year deal two years ago when he accepted $8 million a year.

                              In-game in the Offseason Center. But it only shows the top free agents, unless I'm somehow missing something.

                                Sometimes if you go to offer one of the players they will mention the team leading the pack.

                                "Denver has made the best offer so far but I really don't want to play there. They don't even have a mascot!"
