We don't win in the playoffs. This season was easier to lose. I knew how good you were and how mediocre I was.

One day we will get a Pittsburgh vs. Death Valley Brewmasters.

Both guys have done a fabulous job with their teams but for whatever reason the post season isn't kind to them.

Also, on that day, I will be flying out of the country and wearing ear plugs.

Thats just plain bad luck. You got there 4 times and thats pretty darn impressive.(and you took a break) We lost our first 3, Jistic use to tell me stories about his first 3 he lost. Interesting fact: He was up 3-0 in the Brewmaster only to watch Maine come back and win it 4-3. Can you even imagine how much pain that must of been?????????????????????????

No matter how good my bullpen is, somehow we always find a way to lose close games late in the playoffs. I swear it seems like the last 3 or 4 wildcards we've lost ties or leads in the 8th, 9th or extra innings.

Come to think of it, I think Evers pulled this mess against Washington a couple of years ago when he was with us (and put up monster regular season numbers).
