I want to remind everyone that in spring training a year ago, I traded the starting pitcher with the third-best ERA in the BLB in 2017 and a relief pitcher who had a 1.11 ERA in 81 innings in 2017 for a mopup reliever.

If I ever start talking about how good I am at this game, please remind me of this fact.

While true, you left out the part where the return in that trade was Regin Baisden, who struck out 198 batters and was the fifth-best pitcher in the IL by WAR this year.

Marco Lona is unreal. Savvy move by Jimmy moving him to 2B.

Looking back I parlayed 3 third round picks to move up and get him. GREAT MOVE. So I turned around and made an equally DUMB move by moving him at the time to acquire SS Dusty Simmons who really never played to his ratings. I fought a bit with Jimmy about not putting Lona on the deal however he insisted on getting a prospect IF in return so I buckled.

Back then our Stadium was built different and just didn't think Lona (or Wyatt) would play well at home being lefties. DUMB DUMB DUMB.
