I miss Jistic and the Playboys' name and branding.
But Scortch is cool and I dig the Blues' style.
And that team is much better than their record suggests.Maine Guides

What a run it has been starting with 2005 when we emerged from the lows of the Virginia purge. Looking at it as I get ready to majorly remodel the roster for a third time, it's kind of surreal:
2005 113
2006 97
2007 97
2008 102
2009 89
2010 91
2011 92
2012 91
2013 95
2014 92
2015 106
2016 102
2017 96* (3 games left)
-------------
13 seasons
~97 wins/season
2 Stout Sluggers (J. Jones, T. McCarley)
1 New Brew (A. Pulido)
1 Last Call (R. Manning)
12 postseason appearances
4 IL Wild Cards
8 Division Titles
2 IL Pennants
0 Brewmasters
We're going to say goodbye to some big time players (for us) this offseason.
Troy McCarley will walk into FA as one of the most surprising players I've ever traded for in terms of production vs expectation.
Travis Kemp and Willie Rosales both grew up in Wilmington, but were franchise cornerstones in Vegas. I hope both get a shot at the HoF as Scorpions and possibly a title with another contender.
Wil Perez was a guy I chased for years from Carlos. He turned into the kind of dominant closer I had hoped for after ignoring scouts saying he was a starter.
Al Anguiano, another guy I chased forever from Brad. He reminded me a lot of one of my Hartford favorites in Darrel Corfield but with so much more talent as a hitter.
I'm committed to moving on from each of them in deals or FA this offseason. It's going to be a very different looking clubhouse in Vegas for 2018. What a sentimental last run these upcoming 2 weeks are gonna be.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

Another 4-2 week for the Sharks to clinch the Division for the 2nd time under my reins, another 2-1 series against the Millers, this makes me feel very good.
Still trying to figure out a trade for a Right handed SP, but the tags out there are too expensive, will have to fish in the FA or just wait for Lujan or Gant to be ready before moving Contreras to the Bullpen to compensate our starting rotation. On the bright side, Lofink got his first victory of many against Hartford :) he´s adjusting to the Pro game during September and should be ready to substitute Arce next year, seems that we will free up $21M our of our books with guarantees :)
Very happy so far with this season, best record in the BLB and still fighting with PAW hand to hand for the the #1 Seed... We just have to copy PAW who is playing against the Millers that are playing for nothing and we face NO that still fighting with Maine for the last place of the WC... Hopefully we will finish 2-1 and keeping the #1 Seed

Well not an ideal sim. Really could have used that series win against Chicago. Well if we don't make the playoffs not the end of the world. The future looks good for my squad- we have good young pitchers surrounded by cost controlled veterans. If I can get the offense improved back to where it used to be in the golden days of this franchise, we will have a good run. Not packing it in just yet but we need a lot of help from Philly and Los Alamos assuming we can take care of business against Davenport.

Do we have any idea what the format of the Wild Card Series are?
There are two aspects to this question.
1. Does the higher seeded team play home, then away, and then home?
2. Are there days off in between any or all of the games, or are they played on three consecutive days?Maine Guides

Im not so sure there needs to be a break in between games. Unless you are looking for more realism and wanted a travel day for the teams when going from one park to the next.

Games are set up home, away, home.
Games are every other day. One league plays one day, the other league plays the next day, etc...
