There weren't any errors; just wrong dates. I can't recall off the top of my head if that came up for you or not.

DL, home of 5 teams then a bunch others. Huge separation right now from top 5 to bottom 9. Even the power poll 4 teams are from the DL.

IL seems to have a bit more parity.

3-0 sim, now just 1 GB of DVS for Bock. This is going to be a really intense month for the IL contenders.

Highlight: 3B Zachary Henne with two pinch hit three-run home runs. As a sub this season he is hitting .323 with a 1.097 OPS!

Lowlight: C Dave Morrison will miss four weeks with a knee issue. The injury will put him out until the end of the season, and with a month out of action, I'm not sure I would thrust him right into a playoff series. He might go to the 60 man and call it a year.

2-1 to finish the week, and our lead is 4 games.

Unfortunately I'll be without Tom Abrams for a week or two. He's been a big surprise for me this season at the plate, so that will hurt. A lot of tough games still to go, so 4 games doesn't feel like much of a lead. Could easily flip in one sim.

Travis Gerlach who's been damn near perfect this year blows a save and our win streak is snapped. We rebound with an 18-2 win on Sunday. Stay hot fellas

This version of the Scorpions can't really hit. If any of my stars decided they wanted to get on base or hit for average we'd be a 100 win team. We lost our second best starter in Honea and traded three contributing relievers including our righty setup man and lefty closer. Somehow we still have the top rotation and bullpen and our supposed ace Willie Fajardo is just 8-7. Guy has had so many of his starts wasted this season.

                    Should be an interesting Sept.

Todd Martin is probably our Rex Knight nominee.

We held Pittsburgh under 20 runs in a game. That was a plus.

There hasn't been too much offense in the IL this season, but Stu Stark is having a potentially historic season. With a month to go, he's sitting on 45 home runs. The BLB record is 51, set by Alex Villarroel in 2010. Stark is projected to hit 54, given his current pace.

Will he do it? Have I just jinxed him? Will he now set it against my team since I brought it up?

                          And for only $6 million.

I know I've asked this before, but he is in year 5 in the BLB (3 years at 280K) and only in his first year of arbitration yet some players (Filar and shortly Wescott) hit that in their fourth year (only two years at $280K). Do I have something setup incorrectly or am I just somehow paying guys a season earlier than I need to.

I'm hoping to clear up my misunderstanding as this rebuild in California is hopefully nearing an end.

Guys who hit arbitration after just 2 years are called Super Two players.

Qualification as a Super Two eligible player:

"...has at least two years of major league service but less than three, AND is among the top 22 percent for cumulative playing time in the majors in this class of players (and ties), AND was on an active major-league roster for at least 86 days in the previous season."

A couple more losses puts us at 2-4 for the week and four games behind Seattle for the #3 seed. Washington is looking too strong to catch and with Batavia streaking, we need to focus on just making the playoffs now.

After we finish our series in Chicago on Monday, we have Carolina and Davenport up next week at home. Quite frankly, anything less than a 5-1 week will be a disappointment in my opinion. We have to maximize our wins now and just hope and pray that we can hold off Stu Stark and Batavia.
