So glad I don't have to play New Orleans again this year.
Back-to-back sweeps in July and August. I'm 3-9 against them overall this season.
It's like they knew what I was throwing them!

I know. I needed a rehab assignment this week and didn't have any games left.

That was a pretty good week. I can't believe we are sitting at the top of the IL. My role players have really stepped up. Pierce, McCrory, TJ Dunn, Mojica, Aiden Gay, Dave Calvert, Hector Perdomo, Pat Matson... and ageless Superman Todd Martin.

Last call on a few guys that can help you in the playoffs that have cleared waivers:

            2B Troy McCarley
            IF Travis Council
            OF Rogelio Mojica

Lot of youngsters coming to Vegas next week.

Completed the sweep of Carolina to increase the win streak to nine...then got swept by Batavia and lost the opening game to Death Valley in the 11th. Worst of all, CF J.R. Lowe tore his ankle and will be out four months. Couldn't have timed the trading of CF Tommy Briggs better than that sim gods! Sonny Marshburn went 0-11 with two errors at 1B. He's gone. Speaking of gone, I also had four players retire from Double-A. Shows the type of players I was playing at that level!

The silver lining...we did when the Triple-A Championship over my former club Washington's Richmond Rams 5-3. Yay.

We lost our big series against Baltimore in our stadium. Thankfully, we won all out other games to make it a 4-2 week, keeping pace with the Freedom atop the Stout. I must have messed something up, as my rotation didn't follow the 7-day lineup that I had planned - think I must have allowed it to sub them, and it did. Oh well, still a decent result.

Israel Rodriguez finally blew a save, ending his streak at 31 consecutive saves, I think. Thankfully still won the game. I called up Geoff Dorsey, who's had a huge year in AAA, to replace Haraguchi. He responded by going 5/10 with a HR, so hopefully the 34-year old can provide us with some pop while Haraguchi heals up.

Jamie Urmson had a big week at the plate for us. He's been our offensive MVP, a shame he missed about 3 weeks earlier this year.

We get some of the bottom teams from the Bock coming up next sim. We need to have a big week, since it's a rough few weeks after that.

Andy Garcia hurt himself playing basketball.

My second shortstop has a sore back.

My third shortstop plays for Death Valley now.

And Dave Toste will miss a start with a fever.

                    Shit!

Yeah...that's weird. It's like as soon as the season ended it wiped out the schedules and did the retirements. Might have something to do with us moving the minor league schedules up to synch with the BLB.
