Finally got a chance to digest the sim. Yikes.

Swept by Death Valley... swept by Philadelphia. Ironically after adding sluggers Ethan Stuart and David Santoyo to the lineup, the Pilots managed to score just five runs in six games. Luckily, after a day off to travel back to Seattle, the Pilots put up back-to-back wins against Denver scoring a total of 15 runs. Thanks for letting us get our mojo back Carlos!

Probably done trading for now. Want to see how this team responds to all the new faces. In recent weeks T.J Dunn and Tom Michie have been waived (and claimed), Tony Osorio and Rogelio Padilla traded, Stuart, Santoyo and J.R. Lowe traded for, Orlando Gonzalez signed and Dave Morrison returns from a five week injury + two weeks of rehab. Going to need to work on that team cohesion.

With one game left in July, Seattle finishes with at least 15 wins and .500+ month. I like this team but don't love it. I think Philadelphia and Death Valley proved this week they are much better clubs and I think the trades by DC and Baltimore push them ahead of us. And New York has a one game lead on us. A wild card is a near lock but after going for broke in the recent trades, I'm hoping for better.

Thanks again to Z for getting all the trades done.

Huge series coming up against Dallas.
As if this series won't be tough enough, I'll be without Douglas until the last day of the sim.

The upgrades needed in Baltimore are either not being traded or too expensive for my tastes.

Hence Nelson and Vega being let go in expansion. They represented almost half of my payroll, although based on this year's record they were apparently worth it.
