Wow, these new divisions have made the DL wildcard race interesting. Which of those 4 teams hovering at .500 is gonna step up to make the playoffs and grab that revenue and budget boost?

Ed Lehnhoff's debut = B+ big shoes to fill for team leader Willie Lara.

Jimmy Maggio's debut = D- only because he got the win. He could be headed back down by Aug. 1.

Personal fan favorite JP Knappe returns. Still actively shopping every player on my block. If there's someone you like, let's discuss.

Who needs the DH? I don't think I've ever seen this, but we had pitchers deliver 4 RBI games back-to-back (Ayala and Evans) against Batavia. Evans picked up his 2nd HR of the season in his effort (a grand slam).

Wow that's what we are talking about 7-0!! Including a 4-0 1 run games, that's exactly what we had to improve

5 games comfortable over Morgantown, watchout FC the Sharks are coming!

I never really have looked to see if my pitchers can hit. I probably should.

I always have solid pinch hitters. That's why Dave Bryan was so valuable for so many years. He'd PH and then get a defensive replacement for him in RF.

Anyone else having problems with the file?

Apparently I somehow managed to mess up my own file.

The rosters look right, but the teams have generic nicknames.

              Anyone?

It seems to have happened sometime after uploaded the reports, which have the correct names, but before I ran the SQL dump, which don't.

I don't know yet how to fix this.

Not sure what's up with the utility, but it's got the wrong nicknames for all the teams. For example, I'm now the Washington Gold Sox.

Does the file you guys are downloading have the right team names?

                    Someone say yes.

If so, I will download that file, and run the SQL dump again, which would fix the utility names.

Okay, I checked on my laptop, and the league file is fine.

So I'm downloading it, running the SQL dump again, and fixing the utility.

The league file and HTML are fine for you guys. I just need 30 minutes or so to fix the names in the utility.

I don't pay much attention to them either, but multi RBI games usually will pop off the screen during box score review.

It was a 4-3 week in Washington. Finished off a sweep of Los Alamos, dropped 2/3 in Baltimore, and we've split the series against Windy City so far.

Positives this week - The bullpen was good. JP Lawrence has been very good since coming up to the BLB. Morales and Haraguchi are hitting better, Moody has been pretty good since coming over.

Negatives- Ed Carroll is in a funk. With him pitching like this, I'll have to think about exploring the market. Maybe send him down for a couple sims to figure it out. I don't know. I'd like to see the entire lineup click for a week. Philly went 6-1, so there's not much of a division race.
