That sound you hear is the rickety back wheel coming off. This is usually where we come around. I don't think it's happening. Do I buy the two vets I want that kicks the playoff can down the road two more seasons? Or do I sell off some of the guys I'm having discussions on and can't convince myself to deal?

      Decisions, decisions.

If you want any of the key players on my block - Anguiano, Lara, Rosales, Kemp, McCarley - let me know. It'll probably take one deal to domino the rest before August 1st and try to hang on this season and regroup for next season.

I also have Goldberg if you need a lefty with a salary you control, lefty Zack Wallace has a cheap deal, and Todd Martin who is more than worth his minimal salary and would sure up your shaky rotation on the cheap.

A 4-2 week, not bad. We won road series at New York and at Death Valley, so I won't complain about that. Unfortunately we did lose a 19 inning marathon at New York.

About halfway through July, and both Haraguchi and Morales are having solid months. That'd be great if it keeps up. Moody did ok in his first week in Washington, so I like the middle of my lineup. Unfortunately Ed Carroll is really struggling at the moment, but I think he'll get it figured out.

On the farm, Roger Villasenor moved up to AAA. Two starts, 13 IP, 14Ks, 1 run allowed. I like this kid. Our minor league system report says that he might be ready for the BLB, but I'm in no hurry.

So is Baltimore now our designated 2nd half team each season??

Past few years they always get off to such a slow start and then boom come July they are 10 games above .500. Very interesting the DNA of a team.

I'd like to think that it takes me about that long to figure out who is the asshole holding back our offense.

This year it seems to have been Pimienta. What a terrible signing.

T.J. Kline is pitching like prime Jon Cleary.

                20.1 innings in relief. 0.89 ERA. 0.69 WHIP. 2 walks. 28 strikeouts.

4-2 week puts Seattle in the Bock by two games. We to live and die by the long ball. The Pilots have hit 109 while only giving up 59. That's really our calling card.

Also signed former Hartford outfielder Orlando Gonsales for $1.5M. He will get a few starts to try and shake the rust off.

It will always be the best division in the BLB.

I knew I should have signed him. Very impressive. Those failed "stuff" starters seem to work well as relievers. See: Philadelphia's Dusty Riddleberger.

Ernie Arbini shows up this week for the first time this season. We can use all the offense we can get, so if this is a sign of a second have resurgence we'd much appreciate it.

5-1 as we try to slowly chip away at Philly's lead in the Stout.

I was worried about the offense with Murillo out, but Malik (Roberson) did a great job filling in this past week. He hit in Murillo's #4 spot going 11/28 with 3 home runs and 7 RBI, earning IL POW.

Ironically, I think I'm going to keep him as the #4 hitter. He's developed enough power that he can hit 25-32 in a season now and he doesn't seem to be afraid of the better starters. Murillo will move to the #3 spot and Gosser to #5 and we'll see how this works out for us.

As a team, we posted a 1.37 ERA for the week, which is a season best for us. The week was topped off by Adrian Pulido pitching his 6th career no-hitter.

We are really starting to hit our stride now, just as Murillo is ready to be inserted back into the lineup. Let's see how close we can go from here.

3-2 SIM to open the lead to 4 games versus Morgantown.

David Arce still sliding in production and seems that we will have $21 more millions next year to extend some of our players, is been a pleasure to have Arce back in our team to bridge the gap, but his time with the Sharks is coming to an end.

I still worried about the 13-14 1-Run games record, we must improve our batting when the pitchers are keeping the games in low scores to separate ourselves in the Lager.

Ian Lofink is completely ready to crack into the Show and so thinks my Scout, just waiting for an injury or for September to come to call up the young star, in the meantime he will play as a closer to keep his inning count very low this year

Jed Davis is banging the door in AAA, the CF has a magnificent batting line combined with an awesome D#, OSA doesnīt like him at all, and my scout says he has a lot work to do but with 21 and drafted last year thatīs normal... We can keep Herrera 2 more years and hopefully and the reins to Davis :)

Philly's defense is reaching crazy levels. 46.9 ZR and .734 def???

I've seen many of Maine's and older LA teams with ZR this high, but .734 is insane. Well done.

This season is just nosediving for us. I have been tinkering away, but nothing seems to be helping. I knew that our early success wouldn't last all year, but I didn't anticipate this. I'm at a loss right now.
