The Shavermetrics really liked Washington and Batavia.

Denver 4-2 as this squad has done a good job through a month of "weaker" competition. We face a big test this week with Seattle and Philly coming up. That's where we learn where we really stand.

Either way, Denver is now 30-35. Winners of 8 of their last 10. Playing nearly .700 baseball in June. 4 games back of the final wild card spot thanks to Baltimore going 6-0.

I like how this team is playing. A good week and we'll be third in the division.

The sims are going poorly, but I traded down in the first round to get an extra pick and the three pitchers I selected at 18, 23, and 24 are all in the top 100. Hopefully one or two will pan out nicely to go with all of the hitters I've drafted in previous years. The rebuild is going slower than I'd like, but it seems to be taking shape.

          6-0.

I guess this is what we look like when the reigning IL SS actually hits like one.

-Murillo goes yard 5 times this sim and it looks like his bat is finally waking up after 2 months. Hopefully this can motivate Gosser to join the party.

-Pulido is pitching like he was born to play in Baltimore. A 1.74 ERA and .98 WHIP? Money well spent.

-Fred Evers is another guy who just loves to play for us. In 2014, he posted a 0.84 ERA and 0.73 WHIP. He's on pace for another magical season with a 0.59 ERA and .53 WHIP to match in 2017. Who says 36 year old closers aren't worth 11MM?

I still need some more power in the lineup and could use a RHB to replace Pimienta.

PM me if you have any ideas.

Kaneie Kuwata will make his debut next sim playing as both a position player and relief pitcher.
My scout has him as a 6/5/5 arm. But he also like his bat, 5/6/7.

It's going to be fun seeing what he develops into.

But I don't know how well I drafted in a seemingly deep draft pool.
None of my new draft-picks are in the top 100.

I've totally forgotten, what is the normal roster size for A ball? Looking to make cuts.

SIM time has been upped a few hours. 4 AM PCT.

I'm not really sure I can run it then. But Z is still gone and Brad's McWifi doesn't work where he's at...so I'm your best last chance. That's my goal and I'm going for it.

You want me on that SIM. You need me on that SIM. Wish me luck boys I'm going in.
