Ok well he's only slightly worse at home. I'll dig into team per team. He sucks against us where Hartford which its lefty friendly he looks ok.

I'm guessing small 15 at-bat team-by-team sample sizes probably won't be super revealing.

I don't know what I can do other than see if he can hit himself out of it.

Yeah, I think he rebounds a bit for sure or just one of those bad seasons.

Dave Pierkarski had me scratching my head last season. This season......

The question is how long I am willing to wait.

Because if I give him the full season, I may be getting a .700 OPS, -1.5 WAR season from an $8 million designated hitter batting in the middle of my lineup.

          That would be bad.

He's got a sold defense and power hitting so yes it's built a certain way. What I'm saying is would you expect a team that wins 61% of its game while a team like Wilmington wins 42%?

Again it's a part, but it's a piece of the pie. I'm starting to think if you go by ratings, go by OSA.
The good thing with OSA is that defensive ratings don't deviate much from what a scout would give.

No I didn't. But I did notice they were 11th in strikeouts and 2nd in HRA which tells me their defense does pretty damn well.

I still think we're gonna be pretty filthy once this clicks. Good combo of youth and vets with a focus on speed patience and power. Just need that pitching to come around and be consistent and we should be good.

Love how Cleto took that starting RF job after losing it in spring training. Still think he could be a star, really like his makeup and the Vickers-Cleto combo at the top could be good for a long time.

On the season he's hitting: .305/.379/.576 with 5 HR in 15 games with the big club.

And on the pitching point, something better change soon because Marohnic, Van Gorder, Stough, and Deshon are all killing it in AAA and ready for the show

They're named the Pilots because they hit baseballs so high they pose a danger to pilots.

They are 2nd in the BLB.

Pitt has 82 with 52 more at-bats IN THE DL.

I'd be surprised if this pace continues.

                        But that's just me.

I think we're missing the point. Just had this talk last night, Pat simply does it year over year and he doesn't have stacked teams. Lol, gave Jimmy a hard time about his 2012 DL flag was a flawed team on so many levels. Jistics teams had top to bottom blue bars on his roster.....yet only one cup.

It's just something the new owners can learn from. Ratings are just a piece.

                          5 Cups is not luck.

                              I'm not missing any points.

You are talking about cups and I'm talking about home runs by a team in the first two months of a season. The funny thing is that Pat said the same thing a couple of sims back and there was no backlash. I mention it and we go straight to counting cups to attempt to invalidate opposing opinions. Ok.

Nevertheless, I think UMD and you are every bit as good as Pat when it comes to the whole package of drafting, trading, and managing their teams. I think in a fair universe UMD and you probably already have a couple more.
