Frustrating. When we finally start pitching pretty well, the offense disappears and Urmson gets injured for a couple weeks. He was practically the only hitter I had doing anything positive.

Not sure what to do, except let it play out and see if things improve. My lineup can't all have the worst season of their careers at the same time, right?

          Blame the hitting coach.

We did have a great series in Seattle. Unfortunately, the rest of our week didn't go as well. This is a team that just can't string them together so far. We're so up and down. It's to be expected, but it's still frustrating. I know I just have to be patient with them.

Fortunately, our fanbase is starting to come around and our Fan Interest is at 59. This might not be too impressive, but it's a four point increase from the end of last year and a three point increase from the beginning of the season. Our revenue and attendance is up, and our budget is projected to increase for the first time since 2011.

He's outstanding. I'm pretty sure it's the GM that's the issue.

                  Pawtucket 4-2.

Solid month overall. If Tom Wright can stay healthy and keeps playing at this level we might be ok.

"Might be ok" as in win the Brewmasters 4-0 instead of 4-1?

I agree with BDub, that 9 game lead looks shaky at best.

                        Denver 4-2.
Suddenly we are 4 back of the last wild card spot. Still early but this team is improving with every week.

Lawrence won Rookie of the Month. Really hoping he can keep this up. Davis, Reed and him is solid enough for us right now. We gave Byers back his rotation spot and he promptly got himself lost for essentially the season. Wonderful.

1-5 and it is time to make some changes. We are not very good at all.

What we are doing isn't working as we cannot seem to put runs on the board. We are squandering the performances of two good pitchers (Pulido/Matoon).

Time to get on the phones.

Shout out to John Ayala of all people for picking up a Pitcher of the Month award. Ultimate trash/treasure guy; thought his career was over when he suffered a torn rotator cuff 3 years ago. The guy just keeps going out there and getting the job done.
