Two picks fired off, and they are the two top hitters left on my board - maybe the two best in the draft? Really like Chandler.

I don't think any of the players taken so far have been reaches, all look like good prospects to me.

      Wow.

Well, Chandler was the hitter I really liked but I actually had McGraw higher because I figured if I'm trading into this spot, I'm going for the high risk, high reward guy.

But Chandler was really my favorite and I wondered, would I be regretting taking McGraw over him? Good chance it's a yes. But I think there's a small chance that everyone will regret not taking McGraw.

Anyway, spot / AI made the decision for me and we now have McGraw.

So in a way, I got the player I would have taken with the 8th pick at #10 but also have two pitchers I really like with later picks that wouldn't net pitchers like that in this draft (+ a nice hitter in Palmer who rarely gets mentioned by me in this trade).

Between Maine going 6-0 ( Banuelos raking) and the above for myself, I love that trade more and more.

            I liked McGraw and was considering moving up to grab him if he hung around a few more picks. Meanwhile someone needs to draft this guy;

Wouldn't want anyone in the family to be upset at me for not picking him.

              I saw that.

My kind of player though I have no idea how it happened.

Windy City makes Marco Carrasco our latest first round pitching prospect. We really like how developed he is for a 20 year old. We also really like his hitting ratings. He actually came in 3rd in voting for the Cape Cod Outstanding Hitter Award. A good all around player, who will hopefully continue to bolster the pitching in our minor league system.

                  Interesting.

My scout has him pretty high on the draft list but, doesn't rate him well.

I'm VERY impressed with the first 11 picks.

Not in order, but that was the top 11 on my board and I feel like there is a clear drop off starting at #12 on my list. Still a lot of great potential players but the question marks are a bit more glaring.

I didn't even know it was my pick. Usually I get a notification. Was it even 4 hours?

spot, it was definitely 4 hours. I checked quite oftem.

Pat, I agree on the drop off. I really didn't want to take another pitcher, but I didn't like any of the position players at this point in the draft.

                          Full 4.

Notifications are something you have to opt into (according to the utility you are not presently subscribed). The emails appear to be working, as I am receiving after each pick.

All good. At least the pick was pretty good.

This is definitely a pitcher heavy draft... At least early on.

I thought Carrasco was the last SP with a chance to be a #1. He probably ends up a #2 but there is a lot to like. He's a winner who will make the players around him better.
