Well that was a tough pick.

With the 3rd overall pick, the Toronto Canadians select 3B Jamie 'Superfly' Kitchen from the Heritage Eagles.

Superfly is showing an 8 in contact and 8 in avoid K's with my scout. He has a very high work ethic and maxed out speed. I'm going to take a chance here since he's not who I originally planned on drafting.

I think he can develop into a nice 3B as he has some decent fielding ratings.

Hopefully he will be the setting table for many years to come.

Depending on the how the draft goes, the 10th pick may be available for a later first and a second, or later first and a solid pitching prospect.

Nice pick for Davenport. I didn't expect Gladden to go so high, but he was on my shortlist.

Dave Gladden was a player I thought could fall to later in the draft.

But the fact he was taken so early shows me that Davenport is paying attention. Great pick.

Had Gladden and Kitchens as my 1 and 2 after the pitchers went so one of them was going to Davenport. Loved Kitchens contact and avoid Ks potential but had Gladden first as he had better power numbers that I like to see in a corner infielder and better defense

Kitchens is going to be special but couldn't pass on a potential lefty ace with high stamina.

As for Gladden, nice pick by Davenport. His stats are incredible and his defensive vesatility is very impressive for a potential power bat. I thought he would fall to 10ish.

SP Jayden Parker has a chance to be the best pitcher in this draft.

Still looking to move the 13th overall pick. Id be willing to move Tom Bell as well.

might be the first compliment of a draft choice I've gotten on this thing.
