      * I let T.J. Dunn go for nothing to Kansas City in the expansion draft, deciding I would rather have another $20 million to spend following Dunn's disappointing season. Dunn currently has an OPS .120 points higher than his year in Maine and is on pace for 44 home runs.

      * Instead of spending the money in free agency, I replaced Dunn with Antonio Banuelos (and added a pick), who cost me three top prospects and has been below replacement level in three sims so far.

      * I signed Pat Vonada to play third base. He hit so poorly I had to cut him loose after a month.

      * I spent $10.5 million to bring back Fernando Hernandez, who is productive but starting to look his age finally.

      * I signed David Soto, who is hitless in 13 at-bats as a utility infielder.

      * I added Hector Gutierrez, who has actually been great. Yay!

      * I signed Tom Churchill to an $8 million deal. Churchill, who led the Import League in total bases last year while finishing second in runs scored and in the top ten in home runs, RBIs, and stolen bases, is batting .169 with a total of two home runs and four runs batted in.

      * I added Zhi-peng Kun, who has indeed been a nice utility player.

So here we are, at 10-16, with the worst offense in baseball.

That's how you squander an offseason.
      I'm 10-16 and didn't do shit

Nice sim overall- lost the last game against Los Alamos, swept Baltimore in an epic series in which Fred Schubert had some huge hits, and split a two game set with WC. Pitching continues to impress- offense is still a work in progress but getting there slowly. This is probably the best month long stretch since the early 90s in MIS/NYK history. We'll start fading sometime soon but its nice to have some modicum of success.

I did not plan for New York in my IL WC bid.

When are we elegible to "sell" last off-season free agents pick-ups? Was it the 1st of June? Or after the non-waiver trade deadline?

Really happy with the rebuilding in California. All the young sluggers leading the #1 offence, along with the free agent steal of last year David Santoyo.

BTW, Dave Wescott was only drafted in 2014 and his salary next year shows A*?
I thought he would be an automatic renewal. Did his arbitration start early due to early BLB time!? I should probably know this, but any veteran BLB help would certainly be welcome. Clearly I'm not totally aware of the financial ramifications of rushing top prospects up to the pros early.

Anybody who is badass enough after 2 years gets an early year of arby.

I believe it is called Super 2.

My understanding on Super 2's is that they are determined by service time, of the players who have between 2 & 3 years of service. Seeing as Westcott will only be at 2 at season's end, it seems pretty unlikely to me that he'd qualify as a Super 2. I've never really paid much attention to how OOTP handles it, but I would think he'd get one more year of minimum salary.

WC bounced back after a terrible SIM 3. We lost to Philly before sweeping Denver and splitting a pair with New York. My pitching has been much improved, and the bullpen has stepped it up quite nicely.

After contemplating trading away J.R. Cummings I'm glad I decided to keep him. He's been fantastic in the field and he's batting better than expected. If he can sustain this I'm going to have a middle infield that I'm really happy with featuring Brandon Kelsey, Cummings, and Marlow who's chomping at the bit to make his BLB debut.

I've also been happy with the play of Colin Holmes. He's not exactly lighting the world on fire, but he's been at least as good as Nash was last year and he's a heck of a lot cheaper.
