2-4. Swept by Baltimore. Just can't put it together sadly.

We are in real trouble if my best pitchers can't get their ERAs under 8. I thought we'd be a good pitching team, instead we are the worst in the league. A couple more sims and it will be time to start selling.

2-5 last week and 2-4 week. Pretty sure this will be the refrain all season.

0-2 without Romero, then 3-1 with Romero.... Oh man we´re a really dependent team

We've stumbled into the best record in the league after two weeks. We normally don't start the season this well, so it's a pleasant surprise.

DJ Gosser looks like his rookie season was no fluke.

4-2 sim and we sit at 9-4. Pitching has been outstanding so far this season- Ron Osborn seems to finally be getting "it"- now I just have to hope he stays healthy but he's finally realizing his potential.

So far, I like the IL quite a bit!

5-8 start to the season. Not the way we wanted but when you lose 2 starting pitchers before the season starts what can you expect.

Ledbetter suspended for 10 games following a brawl that was, no doubt started by the chief punk C.J. Hitchcock on that Syracuse team.

4-2 week. Not sure how. Pitching and hitting are equally horrible.
Thomas is the only guy really carrying the way.
Although, Jamie did have a good week hitting over .300 with a HR.

Bednarczyk needs to start settling down.

I really wish I hadn't developed a brain anurism when I overlooked Burkehead in the expansion draft.
His arm would sure be nice to have on my staff right about now.

I'm optimistic though. I think my pitching and hitting will eventually settle down and we'll be able to compete for a playoff/wildcard spot by years-end.

I can't complain about an 8-5 start. Our pitching staff has played pretty well so far, and our defense is much improved as we'd hoped it would be. Our batting isn't lighting the world on fire, but I didn't have any delusions in that regard.

Now it's just a matter of seeing how long these youngsters can hold it together. I have a couple more guys in the minors that my scout says are ready to move up to the show, but if my current roster can keep me competitive I'd like to leave them down there for the season. Still waiting to see how this plays out.
