Before this sim, as I was putting together my lineup, I said to myself, "The one position I really can't afford an injury is center field."

Four days later, down goes Saito for six months.

    Shit!

Lots of injuries, it looks like. Be warned.

I made it through the first half of ST with only a minor injury to Hector Torres, who's slated to be a backup utility IF for me. Should only keep him out the first week of the season, maybe not even that. So, I'm happy.

Not really worried about results, but it seems like we did ok.

Also looks like there's another top prospect deciding to play basketball, so I guess we fix that?

So, Seattle goes 11-3 in the first half of ST. Welcome to the new BLB, same as the old.

C.J. Base retires to focus on basketball? i didn't even know that was an option. And Tristan Jackson goes down for 3 months. So basically half of the rotation.

Williams (R) Goldberg (L) closing and Morosco (R) and Perez (L) setting up is a solid back four for innings 7-9. Should help our younger rotation starters.

I believe the rule here is that Base will be edited to an "off the field" injury and miss all of 2017, but should be ready to go for 2018.

Strange to see a negative-2.5 WAR player get a $6 million extension.

Thanks Z for the clarification. Still a huge blow to the rotation this year. I was kind of counting on him. But shit happens. Hopefully our new offense can just mash teams into submission.

Tried to teach Mason right field. Guess he didn't like the move. He will be MIA for the next 5 weeks.

                      Wow. These schedules look brutal.

I'd advise everyone to rest guys as often as possible, because this schedule is going to kick our collective asses.

Kansas City Comets 1B T.J. Dunn hit seven spring training home runs. He's going to have a monster year.

                          Important reminder...

Unlike the past couple seasons, this year the minor league seasons start on the same date as the BLB season.

Make sure your minor league rosters are (in the process of being) properly filled out so your teams can hit the ground running in the first regular season sim on Friday.

                              Yes, of course.

Just reminding people that they need to have guys signed ASAP so that they can put players in their lineups in advance of the games in the sim we run on Friday.
