    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

New schedule is a bit weird. Off days in unusual places.

Dallas is ready for ST. No further signings, hopefully we will be able to sell someone before the season starts.

True. I'm thinking it was created by ootp and is not something that was loaded.

Fernando Hernandez is back in Maine.

Here are some things to know about him...

              * He's a career .400 hitter with a .900 OPS in the postseason. He also batted .400 with a .867 OPS last year.

              * He won a Pale Ale Pitcher in both leagues.

              * He is 18 starts away from having started more games than any pitcher in BLB history.

              * He is 18 wins away from the all-time wins record. Consider the league on notice.

Really excited to sign starting pitchers Travis Stroble and A.J. Hightower to fill out the rotation. This allows us to push a couple guys back to shore up the bullpen.

It scared the shit out of me when I checked my inbox and saw the headline, "Davenport signs Hernandez."

Then I realized the Brawlers signed Xavier Hernandez, and Fernando re-signed with us.

Missed on Pulido, but that was a luxury signing. As teams pay, I still have nearly $16m for FA. We're gonna bargain hunt like always, but this FA class is terrible for what I need... a defensive C who can hit lefties and a defensive CF who can steal bases. It's looking more and more like the band will be back together (minus Robertson) for one last IL run. I'll never complain about another 100 win season and 12 out of 13 seasons in the playoffs. #bringacuptovegas

Picked up Pulido and brought Evers back for a huge payday.

Pulido should give us a solid six man rotation that can matchup against any team and in any park in the the BLB.

I picked up Evers and even at 36, the man hasn't seemed to slow down much at all.

We're ready to make one more big move this off-season and we'll be ready for what should be a "battle-royale" for playoff spots in the new IL.
