    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Excited to bring back old friend Travis Zuk. Also nice to replenish the farm system.

Still looking to move McCarley, Wright and Honea. Also looking for someone to take Joey Leger. Just PM the pick or prospect you'd want for his salary.

I'm impressed with Philly's spending spree to add Tom Estes and Ernie Arbini, two outfielders with great gloves and okay or better right-handed bats,

Seattle adds SS Rogelio Padilla with a four-year guaranteed contract along with reliever and former Bat friend Tony Osorio.

Toronto joins free agency by signing Ian Brooks to a five-year, $62 million contract. They also added another former Miller (and Clown) left-hander Mike Sanchez to a two-year deal.

Soon-to-be 39-year-old pitcher Willie Castellanos returns from a year off to pitch for New York again.

J.R. Lowe takes his glove and the pop left in his bat back to southern California, but to play for the Kodiaks this time.

New Orleans adds Antonio Romo to their bullpen on a contract featuring two fully guaranteed years.

I can't help but think about how I sold Ethan Bafford for pennies on the dollar in 2015 because of concerns I had about his health.

Going into that season, he had played 116, 130, and 119 games in the previous three seasons, respectively.

So I dealt him for a not good return, mostly to save money.

Two years later, he's played 157 games in consecutive seasons.

        So it goes.

I almost paid Estes in July, just couldn't commit to the 4 years he wanted. Good pickup. Almost signed Osario, but his price got too high.

We're going to need a backup C at some point, maybe stay in house with Strawder. Also need a speedy defensive CF.

Loving my new SP and corner OF prospects.

I have misjudged the market a bit, or simply got outbid for a couple guys I wanted. But, I still have some money to there's still some guys out there that can help.

I'm in need at 3B, so I was hoping to land Vonada, but Maine put in a slightly better bid than I did there. I'd like to move Robby Castro over to 1B and bring in a better defensive 3B, so I should have made that happen. The search continues.

Very surprised about putting 10Millions on the table for a player and he has disappeared... How can we see the retirements of the 1st of January?

Sonny Marshburn will not give up.

He turns 45 in May, but he's still holding on for that last contract!

                    Thanks Andrew.

Can't believe Henry Rodriques hung them up instead to be a Shark for 3 yeard... Oh man it hurts

Good Eye/Discipline. Could be useful as a pinch hitter...

Life just seems brighter with Roberson back in blue and orange.

Now I can actually focus on FA.

Washington should definitely retire SP Robby Duffy's #30. His Perfect Game in the Brewmaster's is one of the BLB's greatest accomplishments.

Duffy's perfect game, closely followed by Sanchez's 3 HR, has to be the greatest single game performance in BLB playoff history.

In the 2011 Brewmaster's, Voodoo had a game where he went 3 for 5 with a double, 2 home runs, 6 RBI, 3 runs scored, and a walk.

                              That game's up there somewhere.
