A good offer gets him. I'm not keeping him to myself just to say I have Banuelos.

I simply have not received or made an offer that both sides can agree to.

I know who I would trade Banuelos for. A couple teams know that player too and they thought about it and decided no. A couple haven't received that offer because I'm of the opinion they wouldn't pull the trigger.

You have one of those players. I don't think you'd make the move or want to. A year later, and with prospects coming up in 2017, I need to revisit if I would still make that move even if you said yes.

Hey you were the only one that wanted McPherson. Umd was the only one that wanted Perkins. He was the only one that wanted Tom Wright. Liquid was the only one that wanted Verba.

No one truly wanted Rodriques though Z ended up taking a chance.

And Mike was the only one that wanted McInturf.

I'm used to it. No one wants good players unless they are sold off for bargain prices.

According to Zone Rating, 37 year old Steve Suarez posted his best defensive season since 2003, when he was 24 years old.

It looks likely he will win his 12th career Defense With Integrity Award, his first since 2013.

5.3 WAR this year. 173 hits.

              2,663 career hits now.

A shame he suffered through the injury-plagued 2014 and 2015 seasons.

If he had notched 150 hits each year (a low bar for a healthy Suarez) instead of sitting out with injuries, he'd be entering the 2017 campaign with 2,853 hits.

One last 150 hit season would have propelled him over 3,000.

              Injuries suck.

I offered you more than what you got for Perkins about a month before you traded Tamieke to us and before you moved Perkins.

                You got greedy, Carlos.

You're right. You expressed interest in him too.

Two people wanted a .300 hitter.

See what you did, Mike? Now Angry Carlos is back.

You won't like Carlos when he's angry.

                            Haha. I'm not angry.

I'm only explaining that Banuelos isn't being traded because either the offers haven't been to my liking or the other teams don't want him.

As I said back when I traded the big names I listed before, I can't get better offers if there aren't teams clamoring for these guys.

Banuelos hasn't drawn any significant interest. So 1. Saying I should trade him sounds foolish because that's like telling McDonald's to go vegan. I can't offer something away that people don't want. And 2. I'm not going to trade him away for a whack offer just so I can say I traded away Banuelos.

I traded those other names in an effort to get rid of the several DHs I had on my team. I elected to keep Banuelos because he was younger and better than everyone but McPherson. So what reason would I have to trade Banuelos other than to say, "yes, he played in Denver once."

Because it sure ain't for the players I'm going to get back. Which would make it a stupid trade.

Banuelos is a beast and still has good value. He's #3 on the Positional Ranking list for first basemen and posted a 150 OPS+ in an injury-plagued season.

                              If I didn't have Gosser, he'd be a Bulldog.
