3-0 and the B-train keeps on rolling.
As potent as our offense has been, our pitching staff has been equally, if not more impressive than the offense in the 2nd half of the season. It is hard to grasp the fact that at the All-Star break, we had a losing record (43-44). Now we're 23 games above .500 and in first place in the league's most competitive division.
We've had some pretty good stretches of good performances over the years, but I've never seen one of my teams play at this high of a level, for such an extended period.
I know we don't look like contenders on paper but I'll be damned if these guys aren't the most cohesive unit in the BLB right now.
If we are lucky enough to make the playoffs, I'll take this team against anyone.Last edited by Delandis; 05-12-2016, 11:28 AM.

Seems like so long ago when he joined our organization as a young sprite.

Designated Driver at 1B AND New Brew should be very interesting this year in the IL.
You can make a case for Gosser, Wescott and Ishikawa, and likely be right in all three (or nine) instances.Last edited by Delandis; 05-12-2016, 11:45 AM.

It's not Pawtucket because you said it's not the team with the most wins.
If it's Pittsburgh, that's the most shameless plug ever, mike. :)
I know Indy just ran off with a 20-win month because I've seen them climb the wild card standings all season.
So if it isn't New Orleans, Indy has to be one of the teams.Denver Bulls

Pawtucket 2-1. And so ends a so- so month. Kind of on a great one month/ mortal the next. Have to see what Sept hold.
Speaking of....did you know Pawtucket had the best record in July (20-6) but REALLY impressive is Death Valleys 23-3 August. WHOLLY SHIT!!!
