      It finally kicked into gear!

Now if we could only fix the repeat offender DFA teams...how about a nice fine system like days of old...$10k per commish transaction!

      One team had 8 DFA's this SIM...so that's $80k into the pot!

Schubert and Nara have adjusted nicely to their new digs. Great first impressions to keep us playing good baseball.

Don't give Yahn the pale ale just yet. There's a strong argument to be made for how dominant Todd Taylor has been, and that's demonstrated in the fact that he's got a higher WAR at the moment AND he pitches in a tougher park. The ERA is closing in to being about the same and the FIP is in Taylor's favor.

Just saying....don't vote without looking at all the factors.

Ledbetter with a great debut for us.

3-3 week leaves us running in the mud.

Two months to make up 10 games. Seems impossible but I'm still going to try. Currently we are +4 in PYT.

Dunn and Byers have been great additions to the staff. Threatt is slowly coming into his own as the left handed specialist. If we continue to get great work out of Steffen, Potter and Manning, we should be great late in games. Reyna seems to have lost his touch starting games so he's going to the pen for the rest of the season (barring an injury to someone). He should make the pen even better then it's already been.

We lose Szymanski for half the month but Tom Wood has done a nice job, especially against right handed pitching.

Defense is still elite. Bullpen is one of the best. Starters should improve. Offense should improve. Let's see what this team's got.

Sorry the break it to you, but park factors are only relevant for hitters. 😉

Wow. Dunn at 400 and he's only 34? Can he catch Steady?

10-5, 1.92 ERA for Fernando Hernandez at age 39.

He recently passed Gervasio Dealba to move into second place* on the all-time wins list.

                  One for the storybooks.

Let's get him to October and see what he can do.

Soft part of our schedule, rested some players and it they seemed to dig it.

                      Pawtucket 6-1.

AAA Lynn is in 1st, AA Lawrence in 2nd and probably playoff bound, A Lowell in 1st.

We also moved up to #12 rated farm system.

Financials could be our strongest ever now sitting at $120,248,472. Really wish we had more seats.

So far its been a nice season. I don't see us attempting to break 114 win mark which I think is the DL regular season record, but maybe in late September if we see it within each we take a crack at it. Until then hold course.

A 4-2 sim for us, which allowed us to keep up our streak of improving every month since April. We are now 7 games under .500, and I'm starting to feel like we could pull off a winning season in the Windy City for the first time since I took over.

Our draft picks are killing it, and our A club went 22-7 in July. Gotta love that.

My favorite stat of the season is Dave Teel batting .405 on the year. The kid is turning into a true ace on the mound, and one of the better contact hitters in the league. He's going to be scary in a couple of years.

One bad month, and that's it in the Stout.
