I'm really confused as to why none of my exports took. I made my changes and exported, came on here and checked to make sure it registered and it showed that it did. Then I made more changes and rechecked it, and second guessed myself changed some things back and came back and rechecked it again. It showed updated times as if all three of my exports took. When I downloaded the file today it was as if I didn't export at all. None of my moves registered.

I still whooped up on Batavia, but it's the principal of the matter.

      Thanks Brad!

Man, Ron "Deuce" Giglio is killing it in A-ball right now.

A 5th round draft pick, he had decent college numbers in his freshman year but fell off the wagon in his sophmore season.

Rumour has it he was moonlighting as an escort for large women.

      Through 23 games his line reads 85AB, 3HR, 13RBI, .341 AVG and .913 OPS, 1.2 WAR.

Not a blue-chip prospect by any means, but the Mowhawks brass like what they've seen so far and hope he continues to progress throughout his young pro career.

Morgantown scouts are also excited for CF, JJ "Gimme" Moore.
A 2nd round pick from this years draft, Moore is hitting .304 with 2HR's and 10RBI for the Explosives.

His defensive zone rating sucks at a -0.6 but Morgantown is confident his defensive acumen will eventually match what he accomplished with the University of Miami.

Last, but certainly not least is Damian "Likes To" Buck.
His pro career has gotten off to a slow start, but his numbers are starting to come around.
Last week he hit .346 with a bomb and drove in 3 runs.
He now has 3 HRs and 16 RBI on the season.

In unrelated news, teenage pregnancy's are up in Nitro, Virginia.

There were at least two files that gave an Error status when I did the import. I didn't note which two teams they were, but I'm 99.9% sure yours was one of them. I don't know if the file was corrupt or what might have gone wrong, the message just says Error.

Thanks for that, Brad. I'll try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I don't mean to sound unappreciative, and realistically nothing I did was going to make a huge difference on a team that's struggling to get to the .500 mark. Going 3-1 gives me even less of a leg to stand on in my complaints.

You may not have done anything wrong. It may have been an FTP hiccup or something out of your control.

Also, I know I've experienced something similar before (losing a ton of minor league moves) and it is frustrating, so no need to apologize.

As a courtesy, we thought it would be nice to leave the broom in Wildcats Ballpark after our four big wins to open the second half of the season. That gives us seven straight in July, as the team looks to be finally coming together after a pretty rough June.

-Gosser blasts another couple home runs including his first BLB grand slam in a 7-2 win over the Wildcats. With 16, he now is tied with Murillo for the team lead and is making the top of our lineup pretty scary.

-Every team needs a guy like Jimmy Matoon (SP). Although he isn't the most talented guy on the mound, the man is the heart of our pitching staff and just gets the job done. He's given up just 5 ER in the last 41 or so innings pitched and I have no doubt that his steady performance through those last couple of rough weeks kept us from bottoming out.

-Another reason we are doing well is the emergence of David Southerland (OF). He's always been a lockdown defender in both corners of the outfield, but now he's finally found his swing to match. Since 6/1, Southerland has hit .320 with 3 triples, 5 homeruns, 9 doubles and 24 RBI. It is nice to know that We can comfortably rest Murillo, Roberson or Gosser (Southerland can play first well too) and know that David is going to bring top notch defense and a bit of offense to the lineup.

-We've also signed former Shark, Troy Davis to a one year deal. He struggled a bit in Dallas last year, but we've decided to give him another chance. Davis adds some veteran leadership and experience to a roster with a lot of young guys being promoted this season. Plus, we have a tough summer schedule coming up and to add another guy who can start, if necessary, is great to have.

Pawtucket has a guy like in SP Nygaard. I keep forgetting he was part of the CF Sonny Mason deal and when I look back at the trade I really didnt have high hopes for him.(See trade comments below) Yet there is he year in and year out just being steady at the #3 or #4 hole. Sometimes its not just about 'Aces' Its also why we paid a TON to keep him.

                Pawtucket trades:

                2010 1st round
                LF Tommy Van Leer
                SP Tony Wences
                MR Johny Pack (AA)

                Los Alamos trades:

                CF Sonny Mason
                SP Jarrod Nygaard

Presim: Place Nygaard in the 3rd spot of the rotation. Lol, well Tony C is hurt again so put Mason starting CF batting 7th both right lefty. Players have been placed on DFA

Despite being in win now mood need to look ahead also. Been looking for an answer for a longtime in CF and everything my scout says Mason is gonna be that kid. He's going thru some growing pains right now, but we can ease him in Morales , Cavazos moving to a lesser OF role and Ruiz & Harward in pitching matchup roles. Only 24. Feels we have our outfield set up for years to come. SP Nygaard doesn't look like a sexy pickup, he's only 25 , got his ass kicked his rookie year and doesn't seem very happy as a bullpen guy. With Oshman coming back next week Nygaard will slide right into the 4 hole and will do what expect from most of our staff , let the infielders handle the rock and keep the ball in the park. He feels like a nice fit.

Wences, not sure what happened to him since Allstar break last season, but it just isn't working. Tried everything. I think Spot straightens him out, but he's an expensive project we wish not to be dealing with right. Removing his salary gives us more flexibility in the long term.

Tommy Van Leer was slow cooked and each month became harder to trade him. So why do it? 1). Never going to be anything but a LF and just believe Mason has a higher upside. I'll will root for Tommy . He has a bright future.

Short term Nygaard can't pitch any worse then Wences has and Mason gives us a healthier option at CF then Tony Cavazos. Who knows maybe we swing another deal later and move Tony to DH? Long term, our major league roster just got even younger and despite a 14 ml stadium renovation (thank you Tex Watts) we should still turn a profit.

Thanks Spot! No go get WC!!!

                  Yep.

These kind of guys don't get to the Hall of Fame, but #49 will get retired in Baltimore when he hangs them up.

Yeah i need to start retiring numbers. Its funny I love the league history, yet do a piss poor job remembering the individuals itself. Its probably cuz I always trade the person at some point. I need to get better at this. Maybe Pawtucket 4.0??

Anyway Pawtucker 4-0. Were beginning to give some players more days off. Time to let go off the gas pedal a bit.

Fernando Hernandez returns to the Top Pitchers list at age 39.

He is by far the oldest player on either Top Players list.

                          Exciting times.
