    (I know Shark enjoys these.)

We drafted Erik Gauthier as a 17 year old high schooler in the fourth round in 2013. He had pitched pretty well as a starting pitcher in a hitting-oriented league, though his raw numbers hardly jump off the chart.

He barely hit 90 MPH on the gun at the time. He mostly threw in the high 80s.

He drifted between the rotation and bullpen in single-A for two years before moving to the bullpen full-time in 2015.

Still in single-A, he started figuring it out that year.

He earned a promotion to AA Bar Harbor, where his 1.16 ERA in 16 appearances led to another promotion, this time to AAA Portsmouth.

And he began throwing harder ... a lot harder.

He's hitting 96 MPH with his fastball now.

He just earned the closer's job starting this sim, as he has a sizzling 1.71 ERA at AAA and made the All-Star team, even though he's only 20 years old pitching against much older hitters!

Someone to keep an eye on.

I hope the expansion teams aren't watching too closely...
Is really nice to draft HS players and watch them all the way through their careers, I´ve similar histories but with hitters in D.J. Barnard and another Catcher in AA

Great read! The MLB has actually done studies to show that two similar players the one most likely to have the greatest career WAR is the younger of the two. In fact, looking at the draft histories of the MLB, the younger the draft age the better. That seems to be the total opposite of the BLB.

This Manny Reyes comeback is really something.

He logged almost 300 plate appearances with us last year and I really thought he was done based on his performance.

Now he's in Los Alamos and having a hell of a half-season.

I cried when Liquid traded him to Denver.

If anybody is looking for a rental starter at an affordable price, TJ Dunn is available.

Best offer will get him. He's going to be a FA in the offseason and we wont be resigning him.

I have been super pleased with him. Seems to be the one consistent piece in our lineup.

Very pleased with the evolution of Riggs coming from the reset of 2012, now my scout aees him as a back of the rotation pitcher :)
