Heat check. 8 players hot, most ever. Bryan, E-Jax and McCarley leading the way. Something about water levels is supposed to go here...

5-2 week for us. Losing the series to Wilmington is almost as surprising as sweeping Philly. I really liked our matchups in the Wilmington series, then I saw that Goodhart blew the save that would have won us that series. Maybe there were some mixed feelings about pitching against his previous team? Seems plausible since his three appearances in the Philly series resulted in two saves and a win. Damn you, Goodhart. You pull that crap again and it's back to AAA with you.

I'm pretty pumped with how well we've been playing lately. Even if we lose the next three games, we've had our best month since the change in management. Our batting is still in the dumps but our pitching and defense is coming around, which was my vision for this team from the get-go. I didn't anticipate how tilted our home field is in our favor. We're 24-17 at home and 9-25 on the road this year.

Cravalho blows two saves against Dallas. Allowing two runs in the bottom of the ninth to allow the pesky Sharks to win. I hate loses like that.
