Pawtucket 3-3. First .500 week of the year. Kind of been long overdue. Dealing with some injuries to our starting lineup, but we will get by.

      League observation:

Seeing the new top 100 and I think in 28 seasons I've never seen the top 7 farm systems so packed together like this before. We seemed to have reached "prospect parity". Considering how much our league is hopeful or "prospect love" some cases more then our major league teams this is a very good thing!!!!

Definitely some highly ranked players, I was a bit surprised by some of the names that rank highly. Looks like 34 players from the draft are on the new top 100 list, 8 in the top 20.

For the Bats, our first round pick Roger Villasenor debuts at #19, the top pitcher from the draft. Second round pick Dave Schneider came in #78. So I'm pretty happy with that, as well as some shake up in my organization top 20.

We also went 5-1 on our DL road trip, so I'm very happy with the sim today. Excellent work, Brad. Thank you.

Can't remember 2014's class. I know that class ended up pretty good also.

5-1. Here we go. Opened up 7 games on Spot and Willie Fajardo threw a 1 hitter. Travis Stroble has been excellent in Porter's former role as a LSP. All our team stats are moving up.

Los Alamos has to be the most perplexing team in the BLB this season. They currently lead the league in negative Pythagorean record at -7. Currently 32-37.

A lineup that dominates in hitting, average and power, but very impatient and strikes out too much. A pitching rotation with the best in baseball but a sub par bullpen.

With the return of Tom Trottier and the maturation of some young players, I think they are a team to keep an eye on in the 2nd half.

I'm really happy with this sim. We went 4-2, winning series against Syracuse and Pitt. With the exception of one loss to Syracuse, all of our games were pretty low scoring which is what we're after at this point. Despite our improving numbers and acquiring several popular free agents this last offseason, our attendance numbers are down 9% from last year. Our owner is projecting to cut our budget by $7 mil for next year, and that number just went up this last sim. All we can do is keep plugging away and hopefully the fans start showing up.

Ratley debuted as the number 14 prospect, and Ditto enters professional baseball at the 66th spot on the top prospects list. This is big doings for a team that's been so starved for hitting prospects. Between the pitching we picked up in 2014 and the hitting we picked up this year our future is looking bright. I found it interesting that the top 3 ranked minor league systems were the top three teams picking this year, in order. I also found it interesting that the Toronto single A club has a number one overall pick, number two overall pick, and number three overall pick on their roster.

Tell me about it. Those one run losses are killing us.

LOL. One of the guys on my Double A team is upset that there are "too many slackers/selfish players on the team."

                              That is awesome.
