Wilmington absolutely owns us. I can't wait until they're gone to the DL.

        Pawtucket 5-1.

Lose CF Mason just before interleague. I guess he can use the rest at this point of the season. We've worked him really hard. Be nice to give Hawthorne some playing at CF also.

Bench coach gave me some report about team chemistry. Said its really going well with 1B Pat Howell as our clubhouse leader. Does it mean anything?

SP Fred Kimble "refreshing new brew"?

        Otherwise we're sort of cruising.

Lost series to Maine and Hartford (2-4 sim). Jimmy Tammarro who had a great 2015 is stinking up the joint this year in place of Mejia.

I just want the team to stay near .500 if possible

Back to normal... Four back of DVS! Looking at that pitching line for the week, I'm sure glad that I drafted more offence. Time to move the fences in in California!

Knappe and Jackson leading the way. Tough run through the DL this week as we get at PAW (need 1 of 3) and a homecoming trip to HAR.

Need to move Wilkinson and/or Zuk.

In six games Knappe has contributed more wins to the DVS season than Wright had all year.

                He's going to be good.

Injuries catching up with us. We aren't out of it yet, but we are fading fast.

4-2 week. Welcome to a full time role Pat Vickers! Hell of a first week, going .550/.609/.950 with 2 HR, 1 3B, 2 SBs....love seeing young guys contribute to our overall team success.

Our rotation has been really good this year for us.

                    Talley - 2.82 ERA
                    Taylor - 2.01 ERA
Syversten - 3.56 ERA (6+ ERA in April...followed by a sub 3 month of May and a CG SO in New Orleans)
                    Bynum - 3.83
Hall - 3.53 (has yet to give up a HR in 53 IP)
                    Walker - 2.52

Well finish up a wrap around 4 game set in NO, hopefully getting us a series win on Monday, then welcome Batavia and Carolina to the Burgh for a 6 game homestand.

Our bullpen and defense has held up. Our rotation has not and we only have three true contributors in the lineup.

Barring a miracle next 30 days, I think we are just playing baseball games for the benefit of others.

Sweep of Washington is great, but losing 2 of 3 to Philly means we gain no ground on the division leaders.

Well 3-3 week. LAD and NO closing the gap in the rear mirror...

Romero will be out this week too... Looking forward to see what Liverett can add...

Not looking forward to face Baltimore and Washington though

Murillo is out. We're going to get crushed.
