I never blow it up. I do sell off major parts... Lindsey, English, Brummett, Pulido (and soon to be Honea, Rosales and Wilkinson) quite often.

Filar is batting over .300. He's just fine.

Definitely don't send him to Triple-A. The home runs will come.

So another 6-0 week that gives us 12 straight wins and likely, one of the best single month performances in team history. The most encouraging part of this streak is that we won last week while Murillo was suspended 4 games for beating up a Morgantown pitcher.

Don't do what I did and wait too long.
I cemented Feliciano in the 3-hole the first three months of last season and all he did was reward me with 1-HR.
When I moved him to the 5-spot, he hit 15 homers in the last 80 games.

Maybe move him up or down the lineup to see if it will spark his power.

Filar is playing amazingly well. Power is power and home runs can be weird like that for some guys. Also it's a new version so who knows what it's doing to power.

When I see young players doing what Filar is doing, I wonder if the game takes approach into the development algorithms. Filar is 24. He might have looked at his power and said, "Wow, I'm amazing but you know what would make me more amazing? Hitting .300 and having that power."

But young guys usually hold back on their power in order to be better average hitters with more patience. Sometimes they lose the power altogether (David Wright, Jason Heyward come to mind), other times they start adding the power back but with the added benefit of drawing more walks (Filar is doing that this year) and hitting for a better average (also doing that). His doubles are up so he's definitely driving the ball.

I'd leave Filar where he is and move Wescott to #4 and Nelson to #5.

Nelson just isn't scary enough vs. RHP at this point to make guys pitch straight up to Filar.

just tried downloading in-game and it still doesnt work, even when I tried downloading the FTP settings. Im just doing it the old fashioned way.
