Apologies on the file import issues we're still experiencing. Andrew is waiting to hear back from our web host who we believe to be the root of the ongoing issue.

Also, we suffered four one-run losses this sim. Damn it.

Not ditto! Back to normal in California.

Big series against DVS starts with a garbage loss as they score two runs on errors to highlight the week of frustration in California.

Speaking of frustration and water finding its level, the Dusty Filar show has become a real concern. He is killing the middle of the lineup after having two 30 home run seasons.

If we are gonna be good, then be good. If we are gonna be bad, then be bad. Nothing worse than floating at .500 not knowing which team will show up each sim.

                Denver couldn't have asked for a better debut from OF Robby Szymanski: 9/18, 3 2B, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 2 BB, .500/1.550!

And then a nightmare debut for SP Tom Reed: Partially Torn Labrum, out 2-3 months.

                Sorry Carlos.

6 weeks in we finally have winning week. Completely rearranged everything (thanks Brad) even though I had to do it all through html. We go 2-1 vs DEN, 3-1 vs CAL and are just two games out and three under water. Not thrilled going on the road (yet again) vs DAV and LAM.

Todd Martin, who I was surprised was available in FA, makes a strong debut in a no decision vs DEN with 7.2 IP, 6 hits and 2 ER.

Erik Jackson debuts and goes 2-for-8. He's up for good.

The starting pitching is coming in line and the big bats are (hopefully) waking up. This bullpen has been our lynchpin.

Could be a big (and then smaller) move in the works shortly. It's going to be an interesting run for us to the AS break... some challenging decisions to make soon.

Another Miller draft pick....just another reason why you should always trade with Pittsburgh.

Anyway- 4-2...moved into 1st place....and it's because our Stars are playing like Stars. That's all I can ask them to do. Johnny Talley is having the best season of his career to this point, though I'm fairly certain that after a bunch more home starts he'll prob balance out a little bit....but regardless I'm going to enjoy the hell out of having him and Taylor at the top.

The Jamie's are carrying us. Davis leads us with 12 bombs, O'Hearn is just redonkulos and on pace for 30 2B, 30 HR, 30 SB as a 22 year old but the real surprise this year is Jamie Wentworth. Picked up last year from Maine to be a utility guy and have a shot to win a spot on the roster...and not only has he won a job as the platoon vs LHP at 2B....he finds himself starting every day all over the diamond. Just an incredible slash line of .367/.452/.467.

Just gotta stay lucky with health, monitor our guys and keep them fresh for the second half, where we usually turn it on when it gets into the hot summer months.

I saw that he already expects starting lineup.

It'll be his by the AS break and then the next 8-10 years after.
