Depending on who's available and where I am when my pick is up (I'm working tonight), I may be interested in moving down from 1.11.

With the #8 Pick, California selects SS Nelson Marquez.
It feels like a consolation pick. With three picks in the first round willing to take a chance at the massive upside to a shortstop with that much power. We have a couple of free agent infielders and Morla hopefully coming up quick, we can give him some time to develop.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

Healey has reached base over 50% of the time in Texas A&M, has hit over .400 in his collegiate career, barely strikes out and has an amazing approach in every at-bat. Defensively, we project him to be an elite defensive third basemen.
His one knock is his lack of home run power. But we are not concerned. He drives the ball and makes constant contact. As an organization drafting with a greater emphasis on defense and putting the ball in play, we don't think there are any comparisons.
Very proud to have him in Denver's farm system.CAROLINA TOBS

It came down to two players, but Sedivec's work ethic put him over the top. The future looks bright for Rod and with Gooding looking to have the ability to slide over to LF in a few seasons it seemed like a good get at 10.BLB

This is likely truth.
I thought Spot was talking to me but obviously he was calling Karma.
