I think we'd have to approve a rookie league before we could add an international complex or more than a couple feeder league teams.
I would excitedly vote for a rookie league but I don't expect it to happen.Maine Guides

Hey I wanted to throw this out there: are we going to be awarded a compensation pick post expansion draft?
Like for every 6 playerswe lose we get a sandwich pick at some point? Because I have a feeling the Seattle team is going to have a lot of former millers org players

I don't think I'd be for increasing the farm system at all. I feel like there are plenty of slots already for anybody that I think has a realistic shot at making the bigs. A lot of the guys I have in my minors are just filler. I know they'll never make the team, but I need to fill my rosters. The game has my system ranked as the second best minor league system, so I can only assume that other teams have even more fillers on their minor league teams. Why add more when we don't have enough quality guys to fill our clubs as it is? Do you really need more than three or four prospects with major league aspirations working their way through your system at any one position? Do you need more than 40 or so pitching prospects?
I'm pretty new to this game, but it seems to me that three minor league teams is just about perfect. It gives you plenty of room to let your guys mature without having to keep up with too many guys that'll never play for your big league club anyways.

And don't worry... The only team I'm "targeting" is DVS.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013

I would vote yes for the Rookie league, International complex and 15 Round Draft with more feeders. More teams, more fun.
The ranking of the farms system is based in how many top-100 prospects you have.
It's important to balance your farm system to allow your top prospects to be happy while they're there, and don't hurt their development. Therefore I am not agree with what it was said before about systems stuck with players, I look after my farm and I try no to have only fillers, I am struggling with this at the moment due that almost all of my good prospects are in the BLB already or in AAA.
Obviously this means more work for Matt and Bradz, which is not very nice. But if they agree I'd vote yes.

I think Spot wins the Porter this year and the new division next year.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

The other thing I noticed in OOTP 16's one draft sample size is that our scouts seem to be all bunched up again. I think last version had more differentiation in opinion. In this draft, if you read the thread, our scout opinions placed many of the same players in the first round projection board just at slightly different #s. If this version has scouts grouping prospects very closely together in relation to their ratings and OSA, the drafts where 1st-3rd round picks are the most valuable commodities could possibly return.
Again, small sample size of one '16 draft, but OOTP 15 was refreshing because it revitalized the depth and differentiation of our drafts.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

My guess is that next time the draft is littered with talented high school players, we'll see the draft all over the place again.Last edited by Delandis; 04-16-2016, 06:38 AM.

Seems it will just create more 'housekeeping' for Matt, Brad, and us.

And picking 17, I couldn't help but notice every one's top 15 appeared to be identical in names and only slightly different in order. Even after that it seemed like the scouting was close, with a few owners going off the script.
Overall, I'd vote no to expanded draft and expanded minor leagues.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present
