Going to adjust my strategy now. The new plan is hopefully Seibert grows at 3B, Gurley plays (and improves at SS) and in 2 years I move Davis to 1B. Let's see how it plays out

    • Was really wanting to see 3B Johnny Brooks at 2.15.

Your late 1st CF is an amazing prospect. My scout is in love with him.

          • I got 1B Fred Frederick. Somehow I missed him in my draft hurry but he might have been my 1st round choice. Scout and OSA love him.

You got a steal there. I was very high on him despite not drafting until round 7 this year. Gurley is a nice player in round 2 as well.

              • I liked Frederick, he was on my list here in the 2nd as well.

Ended up with OF Dave Schneider from CS-Fullerton. He came in at #16 on my scout's list, saying there's "a lot to like here." I'm happy to get him here with pick 40.

                • Pat can find joy in Maine selecting a non-pitcher.

We took Ron Gooch, a 20-year-old center fielder from Arizona.

+ Very good glove in center
+ Great speed on the basepaths
+ Pretty good batting potential per OSA and my scout: 5/5/4/5/4
+ Already quite developed. Ratings via OSA are 4/5/4/4/3
+ Good college hitting performance: .837 OPS in two seasons
