I think my team is broken and I can't figure out why. I brought everyone back in their roles. I just will never get this game.

One month down for Pawtucket without any injuries!!!!

I'll have to look back, but this has to be the best start to a year in team history as we are notorious slow starters out of the gate.

Oscare Sanchez gets DL hitter of the month, the new lineup seems to mesh well , pitchers seem to be settling in, commercials are being made.....

            Sorry, no complaints from Funclown.

              Same here.

It seems to happen every once in a while for me but I restart OOTP and all is good.

My suggestion, if you have not done this already, is to download the league file on the site and start from scratch.

Save any image files you have or you'll need to download those again as well.

We seem to be having server problems. I can't get the file to download from the Owner's forum in a reasonable amount of time.

Continuing our unexpected run at the top of our division. More than a little concerned about the Dusty Filar power outage. Thankfully the Dave Wescott Experiment is continuing to bear fruit.

We are in a bit of a quandary.

It is beyond clear that my pitching is better than even Pat expected. We are absolutely doing a phenomenal job keeping the ball in the park, sucking up balls all over the field (enjoy my gift!) and being all-around awesome on the mound. I had a goal with this staff but it's better than I anticipated it would be this soon.

The problem is we cannot score runs, but if we could, this team might be pretty damn good.

Another problem is, by adding offense we could essentially be removing the defense that's benefiting our pitching staff. And the only players out there that can play both sides of the field (another gift!) are not exactly available at amazing discount rates.

So now I basically watch what might be the best pitching staff I've ever had in this league (assuming this keeps up) lose games it should win easily. And what does that eventually do to my young arms? It would have to be frustrating to pitch the heck out of the baseball and see nothing from it.

I think I have no choice but to wait and see if maybe we get lucky. Maybe we end up winning more 2-1 games. Maybe two or three guys out of the group of Bromely, Pugh, Johnson, Lerma, Richards and Eckstein step up and raise their averages into the .240 range. Even if del Rio can just wake up, we could be slightly better. If we get lucky with Wood and Ballek, that could help tremendously. But even if Banuelos, Del Rio, Wood and Ballek hit, we will still need a couple more guys to step up and at least help us score 3.5 runs a game.

1 more run a game. That's what we need. It's a lot, honestly. I'm not sure where I'm going to find it yet.

                            Maybe it's this guy. http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...layer_845.html

As I have said before, I applaud your commitment to pitching and defense.

Denver is currently first in the DL in defense and and ERA. Dallas won the Wild Card last year with first DL defense/ERA and they were just 9th in runs scored. I think if you can find a little more offense, you could have a similar season.
