As a hockey fan it pains me to say that the NHL should never be used as an example for anything.
(Maybe only to illustrate what NOT to do)

Not unless you like low scoring games where stars are being molested every shift to the point where the league struggles to produce at least one 50-goal scorer and one 100-point guy.

In '93 there were 15 players with 50-goals or more and you had to score 100 points to crack the top 20.

Nothing to see here folks! The sport's never been greater!

In fact, the erosion of NHL hockey led me back to my love for baseball.
I guess I should thank the NHL for that.

I don't think you are playing that poorly...just a small sample. 5-4 at home, 4-13 on the road. 0-3 in extras. 3-6 in one-run games.

      Water will find it's level.

Best opening month in New York history. Unfortunately lost Edgar Mejia to a likely season ending injury...hope he decides to hang it up after this year and decides to turn down that player option. Wes Mcdonald comes off the DL so will be closer to having close to my original lineup out there.

On to May, schedule gets tougher so let's see how it goes. Draft time is coming though which is great

4-13 on the road is a top pick pace.

I just dislike the fact the Blackhawks draft well, scout the right players....then have to break a good part of it up. Why? Cuz the league's revenue isnt growing even though the players demands are partly due to the Canadian dollar??

Yes even funclown believes in fairness (despite pushing the financials) but no other league is growing at such a ridiculous slow pace.

Another 4-2 week on a though road trip. Lost the series against LA. Swept (Still can't believe how) 2-1 / 9-1 / 9-0 DVS with Orbon almost tossing his first complete game in his 5th BLB start.

16-10 out of the gate. Time to dosify our fragile stars on "initially" good match ups.

Romero 60 / 500 PA. Getting there slowly but surely. 5 PAs against DVS in 2 games helped the cause.

Salazar and Moore waking up. Our bullpen improving with Contreras called up to start tossing innings and stay in the BLB for good. 2.2 IPs no runs allowed. Just 1 K and 2 BBs though. Oue great D# is helping the young arm. Byers on his way out of the rotation when I see more dominance on the mold from Contreras.

Arsenault, Larson and Grafing still playing lights out in AAA. Arsenault should get his call up in September, Grafing might be called up this month, let's see, as our chemistry is very good right now. If something is not broken, don't touch it. But Bjerke and McLamore are fighting for a Roster spot right now against the young 22 years old man.

I'm surprised to see my scout suggesting some strong promotions. I'm even seeing Erik Rider in A ball being pushed to AAA. I rather he gets some AA at-bats first.

But AAA should have a few new names. And maybe even my BLB roster. Maybe. Thankfully, I actually have time tonight to go through this and make some decisions.

Considering the names that I'm going to promote to AAA, this lineup could be a lot better come 2017 when we make our IL debut. Oh happy days.

My scout is doing the same thing. In the old OOTP my scout promoted no one. This version he has four players that he wants to move from AAA to the BLB.
