Maine OF Steve Suarez is four hits away from 2,500. Looks like he will break that milestone this week at home.

        Well fuck.

Not turning off 7-day lineups = 2-5 record.

Two things that we focused on for this season: defense in the outfield and Banuelos hitting lead off.

Both worked out really well for the first 7 days of a very long season. Banuelos was responsible for 10 of our 19 runs (6 runs, 4 RBI) and hit nearly .600 with 4 doubles for the week. And our outfield defense was mostly a wash making only one error but not doing anything particularly special or poorly.

Zack Kelley won a middle relief job but did not make an appearance. Steffen, Loew, Potter and Manning took care of the job though I'd like to see my set-up relief do better with their control (asking a lot out of poor control pitchers, I know).

Next week it's first place Los Angeles and long-time rival Dallas.

OK sim, got swept by LA but took 2/3 from Denver. Offense will get better, bullpen off to a good start as well. Off to the next sim and, more importantly, minor league ball :)
