Speaking of signings, Pawtucket signed a slew of veterans this week.

Signed free agent 2B Travis Council to a minor league contract.
Signed free agent LF B.J. Bourgeois to a minor league contract.
Signed free agent RP Stephen Davis to a minor league contract.
Signed free agent 3B Taylor Clarkson to a minor league contract.
Signed free agent 2B Tommy Tipsword to a minor league contract.
Signed free agent RP Dave Martinez to a minor league contract.

Really happy to add some depth to our team with the current budget constraints we are dealing with at the moment.

If so, maybe it would be worth a discussion.

I like the idea of having rain outs but not if it fucks things up.

The only way to prevent rainouts is to make all stadiums retractable domes or to edit the weather.txt file to everyone having 0% rain.

We also had a rainout in Carolina. We ended up starting Tameike who was the scheduled starter for the rainout game. Then next game featured Eddy, who was on 5 days of rest.

Apparently it's an issue on the forums. Rainouts mess up online league with 7-14 day SIMs as scheduling is off and MR's start games.

We all know from experience that AI managers don't always do the best things, but when we put it in their hands for a week at a time anything can happen.

I'm more than willing to edit the ball parks or just fix the text file to 0% of rain if someone wants to bring up a proposal.

I would 100% support getting rid of rainouts.

As much as I like them for the sake of realism, a small AI mistake with them can have cascading effects.

There is a percentage for each stadium. Most of them are 3-5% a month, Seattle and Portland up to 6-7%. So about once a month maybe?
