    Offseason Schedule

    3/26 Sat AM - Free Agency 6 - Feb 16 to ST
    3/28 Mon AM - Spring Training 1
    3/29 Tues AM - Spring Training 2

    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Next SIM tomorrow. Then a day off for ST.

Only a few more SIMs and the BLB is officially in the future. Not bad for starting in 1978.

Spring Training will start 3/28/16 in reality and 4/4/16 in the BLB universe.

        Another bridge player for California...

For a team that had a hard time getting on base and scoring runs we are liking our new offence.

Filar 23 and 59 career home runs already
Santoyo .400 OBP the last three years
Nelson 20 HR middle of order bat
Wescott #11 prospect and appears to be ready for first base
Bean... switching to second to replace the black hole we've had for a while

        and...
5 First round draft picks the next two years to perk up our horrible pitching staff.

We'll have to win a lot of 7-5 games for now!
GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present
        Brewmaster's Cup Champions 2036, 2043

GM Edmonton Herd 1987 - Present
        Brewmaster's Bowl Champions - 1990

        GM Toronto Arenas 1979/80 - 1982/1983
        Brewmaster's Ice Cup Champions 1979/80

Quiet, but successful offseason. Dave D'Orio signs to platoon at C. Alex Torres and Al Anguiano extend. Still have about $6m to add another OF if I want. Wilkinson and Rosales waiting patiently on the block, since Jackson and August are ready to possibly debut once both are gone.

              Nice!

This should help keep the fan interest at a decent level while your prospects progress. Should be fun to watch.

                Tom Griffiths is a Guide.

                Our lineup looks scary now.

Most likely not. Though I'm positive you'll take the max 5 from me just because.

I'm already scouting your organization for under the radar gems.

Teams please make sure you coaching positions are filled. Here is the list for league wide/organization wide vacancies. Coaches are much cheaper in this version and you don't want your players to suffer from no instructions on how to pitch and hit!

                          LAD - 8
                          NO - 1
                          Paw - 1
                          SYR - 5
                          WIL - 9

That's the plan. Fan Interest took a huge hit last year, as we unloaded. Hopefully cheering for two quality veterans for the next two years will get us to a strong young core. So far it's working. Ticket sales are going nicely.
