Will be a SP position available in Dallas during the ST....

    The youngsters Orbon / Contreras

    and the veteran Byers

If one of the youngersters steps up Byers will go to the bullpen, if not...

A bullpen spot will be up for grabs between the youngesters Arsenault and Griffith.

    Interesting off-season for the Sharks

Had to let Shinji Yamashita walk due to budget restraints. It was hard letting him go as he was one of the best relievers over the last 5 to 10 years.
I’m going to experiment using Baisden as our main closer in ST. I love having his left arm in our rotation, but I think he’s better suited as a closer.
I may also experiment with Jimmy Cooney as a reliever in ST. His numbers have never really been that great as a starter.
With Dave Baldwin and the emergence of Johnny Bednarczyk, I’m going to tinker with a starting rotation of Reyes, Konishi, Baldwin, Bednarczyk and Maher.

I’d love to keep Baisden as a SP, but looking at his stats, and his own expectations, I wonder if he’d be better suited as a closer.
I might not have the depth to do that though. He may have to stay as a starter for this year yet.

Whhheew we resigned the players that allowed us the oppt to do it.

Of course this means our PD consist on using a T-Ball, Velcro kid gloves and a web back stop for the pitchers.

Nygaard was the hardest one to chose. He's not an Ace, but I always have this place in my heart for a guy who keeps the ball on the ground plus not a power pitcher so thinking he can last. Again, it was a gamble.

Still some more tweaks to make. Despite not having high draft picks, like our minor league's right now.

Some players won't even discuss signing with me.

They don't want their manager running their life. No one wants to play for a Trump.

Looks like another round of arbitration was pretty rough in Washington, so we will enter free agency with bargain shopping in mind. I think we're in pretty good shape, but could use an upgrade or two. Most notably, I'll have to add a bullpen arm or two. Some of my discount signings last year - Rich Pena, Hector Vargas, Willie Castellanos- proved to be useful last year, so hopefully I can find more guys that can play that won't attract much attention elsewhere.

Anyway, huge fan base returns on our acquisitions. The players didn't like Herrington leaving, but they love adding Evers. They won't mind Garica or Talley after a while either I presume.

We're up to 95 Fan Interest, which is the highest it's been since I arrived I believe.

I kinda want to make one more blockbuster so if there's someone you have interest in feel free to give me a shout. It won't be O'Hearn (who's rated as the second best player on my team) but I'll talk about anyone.

Have you guys seen the "Find a Player" tab next to the Off Season Tab?

This looks like it could up being super useful.
