Why does it sound like you have to run a covert operation just to install a new league file on a Mac?

I'm on a mac. Here is what I did.
-Open OOTP16
-Create New Game (Doesn't matter MLB, Japense, whatever)
-As soon as it loads up, close OOTP so it can save
-Open up OOTP16, go to the Load Saved Game
-On that screen there is a tab to Open Folder where that saved game is, it will open Finder and you can then put the Brewers league folder in there
I'm pretty sure you can't "find" a Saved Games folder until you have a saved game.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Correct. You must save a game for the folder to be created.
And this is a back door to access the hidden folder that Mac's use for application support data. Not sure why it's hidden...

So did we discover if there was a way to force a managers hand when making your lineup and pitching staff?
From what I've read on OOTP's message board, the managers personality will depend on whether or not you can meddle with the team.
One guy wrote that he was forced to fire Metheny because he made Peralta a 3B and would always hit him 3rd or 4th despite having a sub .200 average.
He also traded for Papelbon but Metheny wouldn't use him as his primary closer.
After firing MM, he promoted his bench coach and was able to maintain control.
I'm on the fence about this.
Part of me wants to be married to the manager we hire. But another part will hate it if the AI makes poor choices.
If we had more tools at our disposal to keep the managers in line, I think it'd be a lot of fun and add another dimension to the game.Brewers League Baseball

Yes all owners have been edited to allow pitching/roster moves.
I'm all for going back in a few years if we want it, but some teams currently have managers locked up for years at $1m a year. It would be unfair to make them cut bait and lose money on a new feature we were unfamiliar with.

I'm in but the directions you guys said didn't quite make sense to me.
(This coming from the moron who hasn't been able to get it for years, then realized that all I had to do was put the brewers.lg folder from last year into 16, then swap that with the new file, and put the FTP settings in settings folder)

I don't know if I did it wrong, but it was super simple for me. When I opened 16 it had the option to import a previous game. I imported brewers from 15 and downloaded and installed the graphics packs. That's all I did. It allowed me to download the file from the server and export, so I'm guessing it's working?
