Season tickets accumulate during the off-season like in real life. First we have to choose our ticket prices (which will be locked in at some point during the off-season) and then you'll see fans start buying season tickets.

Anyone else seeing this? Can we do anything about it?

I'm wondering if it has always done this for retired players? I'm not sure I remember seeing it in earlier version (when I looked up retired players) either.

No, when I bring up the profile for Zak Gaston (who retired a few seasons ago) in OOTP 15, I can see the list of historical events in his profile.

In OOTP 16, it's blank.

What you said is true of players who have been retired for multiple decades. But retired players who played more recently should have history.

It's possible the .txt files just need to be copied over. Not sure.

So for the record:

YOU CAN NO LONGER ADJUST TICKET PRICES DURING THE SEASON.

Ticket prices can only be changed during the off season BEFORE WINTER MEETINGS end (which means NOW until December 24th). Also, playoff ticket prices are doubled by the game. According to the developer this was added to remove the ability of GM's (particularly online) to game the financial system.

It also looks like coaches are cheaper AND you don't have to wait for the sim to see if they accept your extension which is nice.
