Just saw that. You can hire a cheap one for less than $100k.

I'm just saying if you want to meddle, the option is there for you to hire a manager that allows you to do so.

And I don't think we really need one as GM and Manager. It would only be if we wanted him to control a certain aspect from the Control Options screen.

All though I wonder if you hire a cheap one if he gets better and coach turn into a scout or something.

Even though it is just window dressing, it is kind of cool that the owner wants us to reach a Brewmaster within 6 years.

Are we required to hire an assistant GM?

Maybe something to turn on in a few seasons. For teams that already have extensions for Managers for years to come at $1m it would be a bummer.

I don't know. I don't see them ever being used. Cali should hire Ed Betts.

I won't release the new file until the next SIM.

I want to make sure everyone is on board and can export, and I don't want any issues. Nothing I'm changing is pertinent to Options/Arb/Scouting which is done this SIM.

How do minor league rosters work at this point? Meaning, do we have to keep them at the 25 man limit? Seems like I normally do but this year, I'd rather take a little time to make a decision on a couple of guys.

Has anyone had any issues getting the game into "Windowed" mode? It defaults to Full Screen for me, and when I try to change it, I get a black screen, and eventually it just reverts back to full screen.

When I load a game, I get a message saying that "Because the screen resolution for windowed mode was not sufficient, the game has auto-loaded in full screen" or something along those lines. Not really sure what's going on. OOTP 15 worked fine in windowed mode, and I didn't buy a new computer or change anything since this morning.

                          Currently re-installing OOTP16. I'll see what happens.

Beyond that, the game/file loaded ok and I exported. Seemed like it worked, but I have no desire to play in full screen mode.

Another cool little addition. If you have a guy (normally in the minors) position locked, his position is bolded on the roster list.

I'm not sure if this was in previous versions. If so, I'm finally noticing it in 16. ;)
