After Clubs have been assigned their A, B and C designations, Club A would host Club B. The winner of the game would then host Club C to determine the Wild Card Club.

Washington has winning records against Baltimore and Batavia.
Batavia has a winning record against Baltimore.

So Washington get's to choose it's designation. I assume they would want to be Club B and host the first playoff game. Batavia then would choose to be Club A to play in the 1st game.

The winner is in. The loser then plays Baltimore for the 2nd spot. So Batavia and Washington have 2 spots to earn a WC, Baltimore has one.

Club A would be the host site, but semantics at this point.

Washington is Club A with home field advantage over Clubs B and C.
Batavia is Club B with home field advantage over Club C.
Baltimore would be Club C.

Death Valley won the division so they shouldn't be in a one-game playoff.

But I see why you're asking this question. There is definitely a lot of confusion. My opinion:

We need to determine who the two wild cards are. That's the first step.

So I believe what you posted about ABC is the solution. Once that's been determined, then the two wild cards must play each other.

I believe MLB nearly avoided this exact issue two seasons ago when Kansas City played Oakland. I will look into it. There was talk about the wild card games taking three days because of the two play-in games and then the actual wild card playoff game.


In short, Washington, Baltimore and/or Batavia is going to be playing a lot of baseball before facing Death Valley in a 5-game series.

Assuming OOTP handles the batting title appropriately, Banuelos should earn his second straight batting title with a .338 average, beating out last year's IL title holder Jimmy Rosema who hit .335 this season.

Banuelos currently holds a .380 batting average with 170 hits in 447 at-bats. 170 hits at the required 502 at-bats to qualify would bring his average down to the aforementioned .338.

So here is what you have to do:

You have to go to player strategy, and choose Bench Player for X Days: and put in the "7". I then too remove the player from the rotation and leave as "Emergency Starter." That way, the manager knows to bench the player for 7 days. Sucks you don't have Burton or English 100% rested...sorry man. We should really spend some time and type out a "Things to Know" for league-wide knowledge. I might work on that soon...
