Nice to see I lost another pitcher for the year. Maher started the season on the DL, never really recovered, and is now back on the DL.
I wonder if he's going to active the final year of his contract? I'm sure he can make more on the open market. But after a dismal year, and being out for the next 7 months, I wonder if he'll take the guaranteed money?Philly Freedom

Is that how we're doing things here? So, BAL/WAS play, then loser plays at Batavia?SpoilerHonestly, this is new ground for us so I can't tell you 100% from experience how the game is going to handle this. In reading the forums I'm apprehensive about whether or not the game will treat these right (I see examples where the game was successful at breaking the 3 way tie with A, B, C designations and I see other cases, at least how they were presented by the OP of the thread(s), where the game seemingly mishandled this scenario.
I'm hoping we're ok because we have 3 teams tied for 2 spots. In the scenarios I'm reading about, it seems to be handled correctly. The issue arises when you have 3 teams tied for 1 spot. In those cases it seems a team gets left in the cold.
We'll run a test later to see how our file is going to handle it. Fingers crossed.Philly Freedom

We should really spend some time and type out a "Things to Know" for league-wide knowledge. I might work on that soon...

Perfect sim for Pittsburgh. 3-3 week to clinch the #1 WC seed. We set all big name hitters, SP and RP as "bench for 7 days" (Todd Taylor for the past 14) and all are healthy, rested and ready to go. Hopefully the week off doesn't put them in a funk....

Good luck to the IL WC contenders.Denver Bulls

IL Mess / WC / Play-off Sim Schedule
What about a topic like this one??
I am going on Hollidays Friday pm (UK time) then flying to New York Saturday am (Spanish time)...
As you can see I have a little bit of mess in my schedule for the next days...
I would appreciate if the commish can work-out something schedule-ways to guide owners that will be in the post season.
It would be helpful , I will probably be one and done in Pittsburgh, but you never know
Thanks guys!Miami Sharks (BLB)
* BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.
Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
* OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

Dallas finishes with 92 W, who would say that at the beggining of 2015?
Good enough for a #2 WC spot and 4 games behind the winner of the Lager, that´s though men...
Williams finishes the season with another hitter of the month award, 22 HRs, 93 RBIs, great clean up rookie year!Miami Sharks (BLB)

And I can't stand a messy forum so just post in the SIM threads.

A lot of the schedule is dependent on the owners involved. As soon as we have WAS and BAL exports for their game we'll run that SIM, and then as soon as we have exports for the next tie break game we'll run that.
At that point we can be more specific about expected timelines around playoff SIMs, though we usually do go with the "deadline at the latest, earlier if all teams are ready to go" approach.Philly Freedom

So the game does not handle this well...at all. We are going to have to edit the schedule which is possible.

From the MLB website.
• If Club 1 has a better record against Clubs 2 and 3, and Club 2 has a better record against Club 3, then Club 1 chooses its designation, followed by Club 2.
Three-Club Tie for Two Wild Card Spots:
After Clubs have been assigned their A, B and C designations, Club A would host Club B. The winner of the game would be declared one Wild Card winner. Club C would then host the loser of the game between Club A and Club B to determine the second Wild Card Club.

Washington has winning records against Baltimore and Batavia.
Batavia has a winning record against Baltimore.
So Washington get's to choose it's designation. I assume they would want to be Club B and host the first playoff game. Batavia then would choose to be Club A to play in the 1st game.
The winner is in. The loser then plays Baltimore for the 2nd spot. So Batavia and Washington have 2 spots to earn a WC, Baltimore has one.
Am I reading this right?
